The beginning.
The world of professional athletics is a
full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and dedication. Miguel began to form his incredible work ethic at a young age, spending time outside school and on the weekends practicing with his father, Bayardo Estrada, in pursuit of the ultimate goal: to compete at the highest level as an amateur boxer.

Hard work pays off.
Miguel's boxing career has taken him worldwide, from California to Hungary to Mexico and throughout Canada. Throughout his journey, he has focused on his goals and pursued his dream of becoming an elite professional boxer who will develop his brand and maximize his fanbase. His hard work paid off when it was announced that Miguel made the Canadian Youth National Team 2022-2023 in the 51kg class. He represented Canada in one of the biggest amateur tournaments in the world (IBA Youth World Championships). Most recently, Miguel became an Olympic Qualifier finalist in December (2023) getting silver and bringing it to his hometown of London, Ontario.

Miguel is currently training and working towards becoming a world champion. His amateur experience has helped him greatly, having trained with many outstanding boxers throughout his journey. Miguel is presently 2-0 (1 KO) as a professional and is eager to maintain his unblemished record. Miguel's hard work and dedication have been implemented as an amateur fighter for the past 12 years. This equation of hard work and dedication will give him the tools to achieve his world-title dream.
Miguel is training at the famous Wild Card gym under the guidance of renowned coach Marvin Somodio, where he continues to refine his skills and build on his strengths. The gym's world-class environment and Marvin’s expertise have been instrumental in helping Miguel grow as a fighter.
He is grateful for the unwavering support of his family and friends, who have been integral to his journey, enabling him to pursue his dreams with passion and determination.
